Are there plans to release this film on DVD in the future? I've been viewing it on the site here and find it quite intriguing, very much in the spirit of the filmmaker's production of "Parsifal", which I've seen many times; it is, in fact, my favorite production of that opera. However, due to the format it is difficult to see all the detail on the small screen provided by Quickplayer, which is very frustrating because I can see that this is a very intricate work and needs close scrutiny of its visual language in conjunction with the use of music, its sound mix, and narrative.
I live in the US, and Mr. Syberberg's work speaks very deeply to me, particularly now, in the light of what would appear to be a very precarious political situation here, if indeed it could be described as political at all. Frankly, I don't know what it is, but Mr. Syberberg seems to have a genius for finding the hidden spiritual movements occurring behind the scenes of history, and I feel a more convenient means of viewing his Hitler opus would be a great service to the world, not only as a great work of art but a contribution to peace and cultural understanding.
Please keep me informed of any plans you might have to release this film and any or all others in the universal region DVD format in future.
Thank you,
Brent Powers
